“AKRUTI PRODUCTS” was established in the year 2000. Mr. Makarand V. Kudalkar, founder of AKRUTI PRODUCTS” is a Mechanical Engineer. His innovative thinking and burning desire to be an entrepreneur lead him to start this enterprise. The journey began with his vision to provide hygiene care product for post delivery needs and resulted in designing a machine to manufacture ‘Maternity’ pads made of wood pulp. The product was ready for commercial distribution in the year 2002.

He started with supplying ‘Maternity’ pads to the nursing homes in the vicinity of the manufacturing site. The product was well accepted by all those who tried it for the first time. The growing demand, his confidence and desire to grow helped him to purchase equipments with higher production capacity.

The company established its manufacturing unit in one of the esteemed Industrial areas in Maharashtra, the M.I.D.C at Ranjangaon 55 kms from Pune. Pune is the western hub for transportation and has direct access to almost all the places across the country.

The office at Mumbai and factory at Pune are strategically located. Presently the company is associated with dealers in states like Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Delhi. The company seeks sources for promotion and distribution of the products across the country.

The company intends to increase its product list for Baby, Women and Adult Hygiene Care.
